Sir Donovan the Knight

DON'T WORRY PRINCESS! I'LL SAVE YOU! This painting was inspired by an old NES game called Ghosts N Goblins, where you play as a knight named Sir Arthur in an attempt to save the lovely Princess Prin Prin. The pose itself was inspired by Kehinde Wiley's use of poses from historic paintings. The stuff in the background is just a bunch of ribbons and confetti falling toward the bottom of the painting. All and all, I had had a knight of a time painting this. Lol! :-D
